Frequently Asked Questions (Mobile)
Can the iMin M Series device screen stay awake?
Your iMin device does not have an always screen on setting. You may install third party applications such as Screen On from Google Play Store or the iMin App Store to enable this feature.
Can I keep my printer connected to my M2 Max while it's screen is off?
Your M2 Max built-in printer will disconnect when your screen is off, or if your device goes to sleep to reduce battery consumption. You may turn off Default Mode in Battery to keep the built-in printer connected.
Note: Turning off Default Mode will increase battery consumption which will result in shorter operating time.
Why can't I use the type A/C USB port on my M2 Max?
You would need to enable USB debugging to use type C port, but disable USB debugging to use type A.
Enabling or disabling the USB debugging will NOT disconnect the charging function.
Note: printing will be disabled when enabling USB debugging.
What type of cards can my iMin device support via NFC?
Your iMin mobile device can support cards with the following specs:

For M2-202 & M2 Max, ensure that your device is powered off. Then, press the Volume ‘-‘ & Power Button to enter Recovery Mode. Continue to select Wipe Data / Factory Reset by using the Volume “+/-” to navigate and pressing the Power Button to confirm.
Why can't my M2 Max device print when power on/screen on from sleep mode?
After a power on / screen on, your device require a few seconds for the printer initialization. You will have to update your device to the latest firmware as the printer initialization time will be optimized with the latest device version. You may turn off Default Mode in Battery to keep the built-in printer connected.
Note: Turning off Default Mode will increase battery consumption which will result in shorter operating times.
Why can't my M2 Max print?
Please check if your USB Debugging is enabled. Your built-in printer will be disconnected if it is turned on, so be sure that the function is disabled when trying to print. You may conduct a test print using the Diagnosis app. If you are still unable to print, you may try to restart your device and try to test print again. If you are still unable to print, you may push the Reset Button next to the Power On Button to reset the printer.
